हर दुख वो बच्चों का खुद पे वो सह लेतें है
उस खुदा की जीवित प्रतिमा को हम पिता कहते है !

हैँ समाज का नियम भी ऐसा पिता सदा गम्भीर रहे,
मन मे भाव छुपे हो लाखोँ, आँखो से न नीर बहे!
करे बात भी रुखी-सूखी, बोले बस बोल हिदायत के,
दिल मे प्यार है माँ जैसा ही, किंतु अलग तस्वीर रहे!

मुझे रख दिया छाँव में खुद जलते रहे धूप में ,
मैंने देखा है ऐसा एक फरिश्ता अपने पिता के रूप में
बेमतलब सी इस दुनिया में वो ही हमारी शान है,
किसी शख्स के वजूद की ‘पिता’ ही पहली पहचान है।
हर बेटी की सबसे बड़ी विश होती है
कि उसके पापा मुस्कराते रहे

छोटी सी जिन्दगी की फिकर बहुत है

कुछ लोगों का प्यार कभी नहीं बदलता उनको माँ बाप कहा जाता है ?
जिंदगी में अच्छा लिबास हो तो उसे कुदरत कहते है ,
रंगीन दोस्त हो तो उसे जन्नत कहते है ,
हसींन हमसफ़र हो तो उसे मोहब्बत कहते है ,
और जिंदगी में आप जैसे पापा हो तो उसे किस्मत कहते है !

मै कहती आयी बचपन से हर चीज दिला दो…
नहीं खाउंगी खाना मुझे बस आखिरी बार दिला दो…
मुझे रोते देख पापा आप भी पिघल जाते थे…
अगले दिन का वादा करके अगले दिल जरूर ले आते थे !

अज़ीज़ भी वो है, नसीब भी वो है ,
दुनिया की भीड़ में करीब भी वो है
उनकी दुआ से चलती है ज़िन्दगी
क्यों की खुदा भी वो है ,
